Artist's Comments
I never thought I'd put a FTW somewhere in the title ever in my life.
But I did. I've been searching dA for a proper science student stamp, and although I've come across Science is Awesome and I BEFORE people start commenting, I'd just like to add - I don't exactly like science. When it gets confusing (for me) or contradictory, it really irks me. So why am I proud to be a science student, let alone being on dA? And why am I announcing that I'm one? (Well, that's if you didn't see my journal header...which might mean you're a bit blind, no offense) I'm happy being a science student here because I'm getting the best of both worlds. Without science we might just never have all these things around us that publish our thoughts to the world (we would have found a way a long time ago, but it would have taken us longer). Without art we're not truly human because we can't express ourselves without giving people the right to see our works the way they want. I really enjoy working in both fields this way - art as a 'fairly serious but not career related' part of my life, and science as a 'career-related but should be more interesting at times' view. Somehow I appreciate a lot more about the world this way. And art's given me the opportunity to practise some good qualities, like patience, creativity and perseverance. Science gives me the ability to think logically (like I ever do xD), analysing and thinking realistically. You got to admit, all these qualities are pretty much needed in both fields - which makes it even more awesome. In brief, I made this stamp to show that I'm just a science student enjoying life while being serious at my own work. Stamp template linkage (good gawd I love this template too much): [link] This stamp is free for use, regardless of the reason(s) YOU have for being proud to be a science student on dA. DISCLAIMER: Use at your own risk! Oh, and don't give a damn if people ask you (rudely) why you're doing here if you use it. As much as they think they have the right of free speech, you've got the right of being here as much as anyone else. Go for it. |

I have Body of a man,
But the mind of a wolf.
But really, it's great to mix-and-match fields. No reason to limit yourself, right?

Who says you can't? I mean, I don't mean to be rude or haughty, 'cause I don't know all the details--but I say do what's fun to you, especially in art, or if it's art that's fun to you. (And writing is art.)
Also, market at home has no space for art.
Yeah, I know it's a "it's not fair that you should be restricted" sort of thing, but looking realistically I shouldn't be doing it.

...or just sitting and watching TV.
Which overrules everything else when thinking about the future.
