EPIC SPONTANEOUS TNO PROJECT IS EPIC

<EDIT> First time painting OVER lineart.

The thing behind is a special magic circle; I realized I CAN'T miss it out because it has a very important role in the project (it appears once in the project, but still). I made that fellow last year by hand, so that magic circle's design belongs to me.

The magic circle, oddly enough, also belongs to Kristian.

So epic that I shot myself in the foot more than 50 times doing this.

And hey, look! First time this isn't a pre-written comment!

I used character ref sheets for reference, but other than that lighting and whatever - NO REFERENCES. Nothing. Nil. Zilch. Nada. I was testing myself on how well I would know semi-realism and what my limits were.

Heh.

These semi-realistic bust shots are not finalised - this is my first time doing them this way, so the image is subject to change as I work on my style. Also, I made a lot of mistakes >_>

Ugh, Feli looks so creepy! She makes me want to flail or squirm in my seat. That look of hers is what kills me, I think. And I think that blood spatter adds to that...

Kris, Nik, and Erika all look awesome! 8D I like those glowing chains around Kris's hand, but I'm still not entirely sure what that's supposed to mean. Ah well.
I want Nik's sunglasses. =w=

Oh, and the eyes! Awesome eyes! xD Ever lovely. Whatever the process is that you do for them, it makes it look great.

FANTASTIC job on this. 8D No questions asked, this is going into my collections!

Woah! I love it.

Fel looks scary. Like she'd actually let out a creepy chuckle or something.

I like Erika and Nik's expressions a lot and think you did well on Kris' hand. My favorite part of all of this is how you colored the hair. It looks wonderful. :clap:

It's actually Felcia...I thought it was Felicia, too xD HANDPAINTED BLOOD FTW.

The glowing chains around his hand...that's the Mannaz rune, representing humanity. The chains simply represent how he's 'bound' to humanity (ie defending it). And haha...it also refers to how he's bound to Revenant.

I'm lucky I don't know what brand Nik's glasses are, otherwise you'd be trying to get them xD

Oh the hair...I redid Kris' and Erika's from scratch >_> at least it paid off. But yes, I love the hair :heart: :heart: :heart:

Oh! So that's what it means! Gah, I was wondering for the longest time what Mannaz meant. I couldn't remember if it meant 'defend' or 'humanity'. And, of course...the poor man is entangled in chains when it comes to Revenant.

You could have just asked me about Eihwaz and Mannaz! I've written about them so much I could easily tell you which hand has which rune (well, not really xD but I do get it after a while).
